How We Make Money
The business model of Next Yazılım Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi, how it prices, and the principles it won't compromise on.
We earn from customers who get real value out of the software we build. Everything else follows from that.
Where Revenue Comes From
Our work is software development, and revenue falls into three areas.
- Product engineering. End-to-end SaaS development, on a defined scope and timeline, where the output is working software.
- AI and LLM research. Development work on retrieval, agent architectures, and evaluation infrastructure.
- Data infrastructure. Building and operating collection, processing, and enrichment pipelines.
The principle is the same in all three: we're paid for value delivered, not for hours spent.
How We Price
Scope Is Written First
We write down what's included, what isn't, and what "done" means before starting. Vague scope makes both sides unhappy later, and the bill usually lands on trust.
Price the Outcome, Not the Hour
We don't sell person-days. The value of a piece of work is measured by the problem it solves, not by how long it took. That pushes us to be fast; the hourly model pushes the other way.
No Surprise Invoices
Where we take on operational responsibility, cost ceilings are defined up front. You shouldn't meet a line item you didn't expect.
How We Don't Sell
We don't do cold outreach. We have no business development team sending sequenced messages. Work reaches us three ways: the work itself and references from the people using it, referrals from existing customers, and visibility in the technical community.
All three are slow. All three compound.
Working With Larger Customers
The principles don't move. We don't build something for one customer that nobody else could use. We don't change an engineering decision under contract pressure. You can always export your data, no questions asked.
We earn from customers who can use what we build and are glad they do. We don't earn, and don't try to earn, from those who can't.
