Making Customers Happy
How Next Yazılım Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi thinks about customer satisfaction and why engineers stay close to customers.
We read satisfaction as a leading indicator, not a lagging one. Almost everything we measure about a piece of work comes from one question: is this system still in use six months from now, and would its owner recommend it to a similar team?
What "Happy" Doesn't Mean
A survey score above some threshold. Regular status reports and a tidy ticket queue. Customer-relationship theatre dressed up as account management.
All of those are measurable, and none of them show the system works.
What "Happy" Does Mean
The system solves a recurring problem in a real workflow. Support comes from the people who built it. The feedback loop closes: either the requested thing gets built, or the reason it won't gets written down.
The strongest signal is simpler: the customer mentions us to other people without being asked.
How We Build
The same order every time:
- We understand the problem ourselves. Before writing a line of code we look at the current workflow, where the data comes from, and what breaks in practice. We don't start from assumptions.
- We ship the smallest working version to production. Rather than keep scope broad and deliver late, we keep it narrow and learn early.
- Only then do we expand. New features come from real usage signals, not from wishlists.
Deliberately slow at the start, fast afterwards.
Engineers Talk to Customers
We don't split "the team that builds" from "the team that listens." Engineers are in the shared channels directly. The roadmap stays visible to the people it affects. When a request arrives, the answer is either code or a written note explaining why not.
That compounds: a customer who sees their feedback land in the system gives better feedback. The loop tightens with each turn.
Our Commitment
We will never tie you into contracts that are hard to exit, charge for something that wasn't used, or describe a capability that doesn't exist.
We will answer the negative feedback too, tell you when we ship, change, or break something, and provide support through the team that did the work.
