Our Story
How Next Yazılım Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi grew from its 28 September 2021 founding into a software R&D team at Bilkent Cyberpark.
Next Yazılım Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi was founded by Emre Elbeyoglu and incorporated in Ankara on 28 September 2021. The founding intent was simple: build a team that treats software as an engineering discipline rather than as project work.
Why Ankara, Why Cyberpark
Putting the company in Bilkent Cyberpark was a deliberate choice. Proximity to the university ecosystem makes two things easier: working with new graduate engineers, and staying in contact with academic research. Over the long run, that's what software R&D feeds on.
The founder's own Bilkent University background points to the same place. Not a coincidence, a continuation.
How It Developed
2021 - Incorporation
Next Yazılım Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi was incorporated on 28 September 2021. The first period went into assembling the core engineering team and settling the development practice.
2022 - Product engineering
End-to-end SaaS development began. Interface, application layer, API, and deployment infrastructure came under one team, which meant the same team also owned the sentence "it worked on my machine."
2023 - Data infrastructure
The pipelines feeding the products became a discipline of their own. Collection, processing, and enrichment were rebuilt to scale.
2024 - Large language models
The weight shifted to LLM-based systems. Retrieval-augmented generation and agent architectures went into production.
2025 - Evaluation and cost
It became clear the hard part isn't writing the first version. The hard part is measuring its quality and managing its cost. Evaluation infrastructure became a workstream in its own right.
Three Things That Repeat in Every Chapter
We learned by doing. Everything we build starts from having hit the problem ourselves. Having read about it never counted.
Each piece of work sat on the last. Product engineering made the data infrastructure possible; the data infrastructure made the LLM work possible. No year started from zero.
We built AI in as the substrate. We design LLM-based systems that couldn't exist without the model. Bolting a model onto an existing pipeline is a different job.
This story isn't about rapid growth and funding rounds. It's about building systems real users depend on. That's the chapter still being written.
